MINUTES <br />Be it remembered that the'Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in -the <br />Special-Session in the Ccu ncil of the City Hall, Monday evening June lst, 1936, at the hour of <br />8 :00 o'clock P. M. A117members were present except Councilmen Fish and Councilman James. Counei <br />man Hull presided. <br />STATE OF INDIANA CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING ` <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY SS: OF <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL <br />TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH -BEND, INDIANA: <br />You are hereby - notified that under end by virtue of the authority by law vested in my Ps <br />Mayor ,of the City of South Bend; of-the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common-Council <br />of said City is hereby called to be held at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. or a.s soon thereafter <br />as convenient; on Monday evening June 1st, 1936, in the council Chambers in said City, for the <br />purpose of considering the f --.11owing ordinance: <br />"An Ordinance authorizing and permitting the Department of Publ is Parks to grant to <br />the'Indiana and Michigan Electric Company the right to overflow two certain tracts of <br />Real Estate situate in section 26, Township 39 north, Range 2, east, St. Joseph County <br />Indiana, and to make conveyances therefor as provided by law." <br />also <br />"A letter from the South Bend Chapter, League of Women Voters.11 <br />Dated this 1st ,day of June A. Rules suspended end ordinance goes to <br />third read -:ng. <br />The Ordinance was-given its third reading by title:; and placed upon its passage and passed <br />by the following vote: Hull; Goetz, Bierwagen, Kerner, Chambers, Rasmussen and Palicki.
