REGULAR MEETING. <br />MINUTES ._ <br />117• i. �" <br />Be it Remembered that the Common Councilmof the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the <br />Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, January 2Sth, 1935 <br />at _the hour of 7 :55 o'clock P. M. All members present. President Hull presided. The Minutes <br />of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of Councilman Goetz were referred to the <br />Committee on the inspection and Supervision of Minutes. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE CITY CONTROLLER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE MONTH OF December 1934• <br />Balance on Hand Fifst of -Month ...... ............................... 212,626.09 <br />Balance Dec. 31, 193+0 .. ......... ......... ...................... 164,952.67 <br />Respectfully Submitted, Fred Woodward, City Controller. The report was accepted by the Council <br />and.ordered to be placed on -file. Motion carried. <br />RZPORT'OF- COMMITTEE -ON MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING. <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report <br />that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them <br />correct.- They therefore recommend that the same be approved. Wm. S. James, Wm. Bierwagen, <br />Wm. Rasmussen, Committee. South Bend, Ind. Dec. 27th, 1934. <br />The report was accepted by the Council and ordered to be placed on file. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES -OF ANNUAL MEETING. <br />To,the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report <br />that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of - the Council and found them <br />correct. Notibn geamided =; by, <br />Councilman Fish. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN GEO. HULL. r <br />WHEREAS, the Supreme Ruler of the - Universe has called'to his reward, John C. Nelaon, a �zZ <br />former member of the Common Council of South Bend, and " <br />WHEREAS, the deceased has spent practically all his life in the City, where he was known <br />and loved by many_of.his friends and where he was prominent in matters pertaining to Civic <br />Welfare:. <br />THEREFORE be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bendi.Indiana, that we <br />deeply regret ;he passing of the deceased and extend to his bereaved family the condolence <br />of this Council, and further be it resolved that a copy of this Resolution certified by the City <br />Clerk be sent to the members-of the family of the deceased. <br />Councilman Chambers makes a Motion to adoptz said Resolution unanimouslgm.
