• ( Concluded <br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and' <br />passed by the following vote: Whiteman, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Brennaan,Oakley, Fiwek, Cripe <br />and Gustin, Ayes 9, Nays 0. Ordinance adopted. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3090. <br />An Ordinance appropriating certain Funds from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana,to the Department of Public Health and The City af Clerk's Department. <br />The.Ovdinance was given its third reading bybtitle, and was placed upon its passage and <br />passed by the following vote :. Whiteman, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, A Brennan, Oakley, Fiwek, <br />Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 9, Nays 0. Ordinance adopted. <br />ORDINANCE- N0. <br />An Ordinance Prohibiting the Scattering of advertising Matter on Public and Private <br />Grounds and Buildings of the City of South Bend, Indiana, providing for a License Fee for <br />the Delivery and Distribution of advertising Matter and other articles within the City, <br />providing a penalty and Repealing Ordinance No. 1056 adopted July k, 1901 also being known <br />as Sections 150 and 151 of Ordinance No. 1927 printed in Book Form and adopted_ February 14-, <br />1916. <br />The Ordinance was given its.first reading by title, its second reading in full and on <br />Motion of Councilman I Cripe was referred to the- Committee on Ordinances to report back to <br />the Committee of the E Whole. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Cripe next states: that he is not convinced yet concerning the payment of <br />additional salariea..t from the Track Elevation Fund.to William S. Moore, City Engineer and <br />Miss Hazel A. Turner, Clerk of the Board of Public 'forks, and after a few remarks, makes an oral <br />motion:mthat he would like to go on record as being opposed to the method in which the Board <br />of Public Works used in paying out this money, Xxx Councilman Hull seconds said Motion as being <br />in-favor of the Council going on record. The Motion was carried and passed. <br />On Motion of Councilman Goetz the Council- adjourned at -9 :45 o'clock P. M.
