November 27th, 1933. REGULAR MEETING. <br />MINUTES. <br />Be it Remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the <br />Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening November 27-6h, 1933 <br />the hour of 9 :15 o'clock P. M. All Members present, except Counci man de Vice- <br />'s <br />s Grzeskowiak presided. The Minutes of the laaxxi =zx two previous r�e� were read <br />and on Motion of Councilman Hull were accepted as read. Motion.carried. <br />COMMMNICAT I ON. <br />SouthnBend, Indiana, November 6, 1933. <br />-. <br />Soutlyr Bend City Council, City Hall, South Bend, Indiana. <br />Dear Friends:- We appreciate the beautiful flowers you sent to us while in the hospital and <br />particularly the thoughts that went with them. Very sincerely yours. Mr: -and Mrs. John C. <br />Nelson. On Motion of Councilman Hiss the Communication was accepted and ordered to be `+ <br />placed on file. Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATION. <br />South Bend Post No. 1167 Veterans of bForeign Wars of the United States <br />P. O. Box 571, South Bend, Indiana, November 15, 1933• <br />The City - Council, City of South Bend, South Bend, Ind., <br />Sirs: By direction of this Post I am forwarding to you a copy of the resolution adopted at our <br />regular meeting Nov. 16, 1933. Resolved that the City of South Bend and St. Joseph County make' <br />every effort to secure Federal Grants for public works, particurlarly a sewage dis osal plant, <br />as a means of employment.
