<br />Be it Memembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in
<br />the Regular Session in-the Council ,Chambers in the City Hall, Monday evening Depember.12th,
<br />1932 at the hour of 7 :50 o'clock P. M..All Members present except Councilman Whiteman.
<br />President Nelson-presided. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and on Motion of
<br />Councilman Hull were X accepted as read. Motion carried.

<br />Your Committee of the Whole "to whom was referred An Ordinance approving contract by and
<br />between the City of South Bend, Indiana, through its Department of Public Safety and Scherman
<br />Schaus— Freeman Compan$ for the Purchase of Equipment for the Fire Department in the amount of
<br />One Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,950.00). - Respectfully report that they have
<br />examined the matter, and that in their opinion the said Ordinance should be reported favorabl

<br />General Fire Truck Company of St. Louis, Missouri, for-the Purchase of Equi pent for the
<br />Fire Department in the amount of Two Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars 02,450.00).
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter,.and that in their opinion the said
<br />Ordinance should be reported favorable. Jno. C. Hiss., Chairman.' The report was accepted
<br />by the Council.

<br />Motion of Councilman Cripe the Rules were suspended by the following vote: Nelson, Rokop,
<br />Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak ", Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 11, Nays 0
