An Ordinance-amending Section One (1) _ of Ordinance 10. 2985 fixing the Salaries of certain City officials and employees of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, and Repealing all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict Therewith: The Ordinance was-given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on Motion of Councilman Altfeld, The Rules,were suspended by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Hiss, Oakley., Grzeskowiak, Oripe and Gustin, Ayes 12, Nays 6, Rules suspended and Ordinance goes to third reading. The Ordinance was given its Itral third.reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and passed by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, hiss, Oakley,._Grzeskowiak, Oripe and Gustin,,Ayes 12, Nays 0:',Ordinance adopted:' RESOLUTION. l[ INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN JOSEPH S. JAWORSKI. Whereas, in a resolution heretofore adopted setting forth proposed reductions in statutory salaries of certain city officials of the City of South.Bend it was intended that the Clerk of tlx Board of Public.Works receive eighteen hundred ($1#800'00) dollars per annum, commencing June 1, 1932, instead of nineteen hundred ( #1,90040) dollars as provided in said resolutioo:' Therefore,.be it resolved by the Cdmmon Council of the City of South Bend that it is the sense of the Common Council of the Oity of South Bend that the annual salary of the Clerk-of the Hoard -of Public Works be eighteen hundred ($1800:00) dollars per annum as of June 1st_, 1932 Be it further resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the proposed reductions in statutory salaries heretofore set forth in said resolution above referred be accepted by said Common Council of the City of South Bend for and on behalf of said City; that the amounts of such reductions to be received and/ or retained as donation to the General Fund of said Oity.
