WHITEMAN. <br />WHEREAS, the Uniom Trust Company of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is indebted to the <br />City of South Bend in the amount of Nine Thoupand Nine Hundred Fourteen Dollars and Twenty —one <br />Cents ($9,91+:121), principal and interest, which amount is owing to the Sinking Fund of said <br />city by.reason of said Union_ Trust Company having received certain deposits of moneys belonging <br />to said Sinking Fund, and <br />WHEREAS, said Union Trust Company is now in the process of liquidation., and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Indemnity&ompany of New Jersey is surety on the bond of said Union <br />Trust Compamy for the payments of moneys belonging to said Sinking Fund of the City of ,-South <br />Bend, on deposit with the said Union Trust Companyi which bond. is in the amount of One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($1001,000:b0) and said Public Indemnity Company of New Jersey has signified, <br />its intention of paying to the Sinking Fund Commission of the City of South Bend the amount <br />( <br />
