<br />WHEREAS Section 2 of Chapter 99 of the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of
<br />Indiana for the year 1931 provide that the Common Council shall fix-each year the amount of the
<br />bond to be made payable: to the City of South Bend for the handling of Barrett Law Assessment ,
<br />Funds; and
<br />WHEREAS underthe Act above set-forth, the County- Treasurer by virtue of his office .,of.
