<br />Be it Remembered that the Common Council met in Special Session in the Council Chambers
<br />in the City Hall, Monday Evening December 30th, 1929 at the hour of 7:45 o'clock P. bi. All
<br />Members present except Councilman Fegan.. President Breyer presided.
<br />STATE OF INDIANA CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING
<br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY SS. OF THE COMMION COUNCIL.
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />To the Members of the Common council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as
<br />Mayor of the City of South Bend, of the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common
<br />Council of said City is hereby called to meet at the hour of 7:45 o'clock P. M., on Monday
<br />December 30th, 1929, or as soon thereafter as convenient following a public hearing before
<br />the Committee of the Whole Council on said evening, for the purpose of considering final actin
<br />upon the following entitled ordinance.
<br />An Ordinance, appropriating the sum of Fifty -four Thousand ($54,000.00) Dollars out
<br />of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Department of Finance of said
<br />City for the purpose of paying the $nstal-lment and interest for 1929 upon reduction of
<br />assessments for the Northwest Sewer.

<br />REPORT OF THE CO=ITTEE OF 'THE WHOLE.
<br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
<br />Your Committee of the Whole. to whom was referred An Ordinance appropriating the sum of
<br />Fifty -four Thousand Dpolars ($54,000.00) out of the General Fund of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, to the Department of Finance of said City for the purpose of paying the installment
<br />and interest for 1929 upon Reduction of assessments for the Northwest Sewer. Respectfully
<br />report that they have examined the matter, and that in their opinion the said Ordinance' should,
<br />be reported favorable. Lazarus Altfeld, Chairman. The report was accepted by the Council.

<br />General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Department of Finance of said City for
<br />the Purpose of paying the installment and interest for 1929 upon reduction of assessments for
<br />the Northwest Sewer.
<br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and
<br />passed by the following vote: Beyer, Nelson, Whiteman, Hull, Ara.nowski, Altfeld, Thornton, Hug
<br />Zmudzinski, Gall and Witwer, Ayes 11, Nays 0. Ordinance adopted.
<br />On Motion of Councilman Hull the Council adjourned at 7 :50 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.
