Hunt <br />Deputy Director M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />FROM: CARL ELLISON, DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (V (,,e,& <br />SUBJECT: 1977 CDBG APPROPRIATION (KELLY PARK IMPROVEMENTS) <br />DATE: JUNE 21, 1978 <br />The Division of Community Development is submitting for your considera- <br />tion an appropriation bill totaling $5,000.00 to be used for general improve- <br />ments at Kelly Park. <br />The CD staff in conjunction with the Park Department surveyed Kelly <br />Park and determined that the following improvements were needed: <br />(1) rehabilitation of the shelter house; <br />(2) extension of the existing fence; <br />(3) installation of two new pieces of play equipment; and, <br />(4) beautification of the general park area and parkway. <br />In addition, the Park Department has agreed to undertake several general <br />maintenance tasksincluding painting the existing play equipment and improving a <br />small play area.
