ORDINANCE NO. (,3 4 2 - -) 9 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $33,000.00 FROM CD PROGRAM 77 -101 PERSONNEL COSTS TO CD PROGRAM 77 -101 NON - PERSONNEL COSTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,000.00. BOTH COST CATEGORIES BEING WITHIN THE BUREAU OF HOUSING BUDGET FROM THE 1977 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing budget for the Bureau of Housing from the 1977 Community Development Block Grant Fund (Program Year 1977). In order to insure a continued effective and efficient utilization of housing rehabilitation and assistance monies, through proper program management, the Bureau of Housing requires additional funds for certain non - personnel costs. Since a surplus exists in the Bureau of Housing's personnel costs account, a transfer of funds is requested as set forth below: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $33,000.00 be transferred in the follow- ing manner: REDUCE THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE AMOUNT Housing Program Administration $33,000.00 (Personnel Costs) INCREASE THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE AMOUNT Housing Program Administration $33,000.00 (Non- Personnel Costs) SECTION II.
