(b) Any officers shall be entitled to receive $32.00 for <br />each of the holidays listed below, whether such holiday is worked <br />ar not. Payment shall be made for each holiday during the pay <br />period to which the holiday falls; however, no holiday shall 1?e <br />paid in advance of its occurrence. The holiday pay shall apply <br />only to the following: <br />New Years Day Fourth of July <br />Lincoln's Birthday Labor Day <br />Washington's Birthday Columbus Day <br />Good Friday Veteran's Day <br />Easter Sunday Thanksgiving Day <br />Memorial Day Christmas Day <br />(c) For night incentive and hazard pay, $300.00 per year. <br />(d) Each officer shall be paid a Gun and I.D. Allowance <br />(G.I.D.) of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year. One -half of <br />the G.I.D. Allowance shall be paid to each sworn officer by-June <br />30,.1979 and the remaining one -half shall be paid by December 31, <br />1979. <br />SECTION III. The Common Council recommends that the sworn <br />members of the Police Department clothing allowance be $425.00 <br />per year. One -half of the clothing allowance shall be paid to each <br />sworn officer by June 30, 1979, and the remaining one -half shall be <br />paid by December 31, 1979. <br />SECTION IV. The Common Council recommends that the advance- <br />ment of rank from Patrolman First Class to Corporal be after three <br />(3) complete years upon satisfactory performance of duty and pro- <br />motion by the Board of Safety. <br />SECTION V. The Common Council recommends: <br />(a) that an eye and dental care insurance program <br />be developed by the City with the full cost of <br />this program being paid by the employee. <br />(b) Officers working under the Overtime Foot Patrol <br />Program shall be paid at the rate of $6.25 per <br />hour effective August 1, 1978, and at the rate <br />of $7.5G per hour effective January 1, 1979. A <br />total of $120,000 shall be appropriated for the <br />1979 Overtime Foot Patrol Program. <br />(c) that the Mayor and Board of Safety negotiate with <br />the Fraternal Order of Police to develop a Work <br />Rules and Regulations Agreement by November 30, <br />1978. <br />SECTION VI.
