(0 3 5/'7- 72 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4490 -68, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Chapter 21, Municipal Code). BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. Ordinance No. 4490 -68, as amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: A tract of land located in St. Joseph County, Portage Township, City of South Bend and described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of the intersection of Wayne Street and St. Louis Boulevard; thence in an easterly direction along the South right -of -way line of Wayne Street a distance of 234 feet; thence in a southerly direction a distance of 198 feet; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 176 feet to the intersection with the east right -of -way line of St. Peter Street; thence northerly along the east right -of -way line of St. Peter Street a distance of 66 feet; thence easterly a distance of 179 feet; thence Southerly a distance of 212 feet; thence Westerly a distance of 595 feet to the intersection with the East right -of -way line of St. Louis Boulevard; thence Northerly along the East right -of -way line of St. Louis Boulevard a distance of 389 feet to the place of beginning encompassing an area of 3.54 acres more or less subject to legal highway. be and the same is hereby established as B Residential G Height and Area District.
