ORDINANCE NO. 3j r-?4Y AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $20,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Works to administer certain activities of the Department, and to ensure the Depart- ment's ability to properly perform its functions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $20,090.00 is hereby appropriated from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Shar- ing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Works and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 152 MUNICIPAL SERVICES IMPROVEMENTS Account Description Amount 260.0 Other Contractual $20,000.00 TOTAL FA 152 $20,000.00 SECTION II.
