ORDINANCE NO. 1,370- ff AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $132,700.00 FROM LOCAL ROAD AND STREET - SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION FUND TO PRO - JECT R & S 68, IRONWOOD DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET- SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In that the 1978 session of the Indiana General Assembly enacted Public Law 58, Acts 1978, creating the Local Road and Street - Special Distribution Fund; and In that certain unsafe conditions exist along Ironwood Drive between Edison Road and S.R. 23, necessitating the proposal of certain improvements; and In that certain additional funds are required to pay the cost of these improvements; and In that funds are available from the Local Road and Street - Special Distri- bution Fund for these purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the sum of $132,700.00 be appropriated from the 1978 Local Road and Street - Special Distribution Fund to Project R & S 68, as set forth below: FUND 55 LOCAL ROAD AND STREET SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION .: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 260.0 Other Contractuals $132,700.00 TOTAL APPROPRIATION $132,700.00 SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor. 1st READING PUBLIC HEARING S' aa' 7 P 2nd READING NOT APPROVED- REFERRED PASSED - -o?o? _ �69 Member F the Common Council MAY 3 1978: Irene Gammon CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND.
