(,3(07-2S( <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $175,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR OPERATIONS OF THE <br />PARKING GARAGE SYSTEM, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Additional funds are needed by the Controller's Office <br />to insure its ability to meet parking garage obligations dur- <br />ing the period of change -over for the parking meter system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $175,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year 1978 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly <br />known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropria- <br />tion is to be administered by the Controller's Office and will <br />be distributed as set forth below: <br />ACCOUNT <br />655.0 <br />PROGRAM FA 157 <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Parking Sinking Fund <br />AMOUNT <br />$175,000.00 <br />TOTAL FA 157 $175,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
