LaMar Wilson <br />Assistant Director <br />SOUTH BEND <br />NEMETH, Mayor <br />August 9, 1978 <br />M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />II � <br />o 2 <br />�bbJO�a • <br />1440 County -City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />219/284 -9335 <br />FROM: CARL ELLISON, DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT d ftC &e& <br />SUBJECT: 1978 CDBG APPROPRIATION (Coquillard Park Improvements) <br />The Division of Community Development is submitting for your consider- <br />ation an appropriation bill totaling $20,000 to be used for general <br />improvements at Coquillard Park. <br />The CD staff in conjunction with the Park Department have discussed <br />the following areas of improvement for Coquillard Park: <br />1) Resurfacing of existing tennis court; <br />2) The addition of a tennis court; <br />3) Resurfacing of basketball court; <br />4) and, addition of park and /or picnic benches. <br />Consistent with CD policy, priorities for final park improvements shall <br />be established between the Park Department and the neighborhood organization <br />and residents, pending on resources, cost estimates, etc. <br />We respectfully request your favorable consideration of this bill. <br />Should you have any questions or desire additional information, please contact <br />me or Jon R.
