REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER_ 271 1967 <br />ORDINANCES, THIRD READING <br />AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THAT IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO CONDEMN CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FOR <br />THE USE AND BENEFIT OF "MEMORIAL HOSPITAL OF SOUTH BEND ", <br />AND THAT THE ACQUISITION OF SAID REAL ESTATE IS NECESSARY FOR <br />THE EXPANSION OF SAID HOSPITAL. <br />Councilman Laven made a motion that the Ordinance be withdrawn. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. (Location: N. line of first <br />alley N. of E. Jefferson at intersection with Logan). <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Allen made a motion that <br />the Ordinance be set for public hearing on December 11, 1967. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY <br />KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. (Location: 150 E. <br />North Shore Dr.) <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Palmer made a motion <br />that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on December 11, 1967. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER <br />40 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(Location: S.W.Corner Ironwood and Ridgedale Rd.). <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion that <br />the Ordinance be set for public hearing on December 11, 1967. Councilman Laven seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />
