The following action was taken <br />on September 19, 1967: <br />After due consideration it was moved, seconded and carried that the <br />ordinance and site development plan be recommended favorably to the <br />Common Council. <br />Excerpts from the minutes are hereby attached and made a part of this report. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/s/ John K. Councilman Smith made a motion that i • <br />the Ordinance be set for public hearing on October 9, 1967. Councilman Musz.ynski seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. li <br />ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 ADOPTED <br />BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />ON THE 14th DAY OF JUNE, 1949, COMMONLY KNOWN <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA (Location: 3220 E. Jefferson). <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Palmer made a motion • <br />that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on October 9, 1967. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Corner <br />Bendix and Elwood) j <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Allen made a motion that <br />the Ordinance be set for public hearing on October 23, 1967. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion <br />`lost. (4 ayes, Councilmen Allen, Palmer,Wise and Geib,'j 4 nays, Councilmen Hunter, Laven, Smith and- Muszynski, <br />Councilman Szymkowiak did not vote).` I Councilman''Smith made a motion that the Ordinance be set for <br />public hearing on October 9, 1967. Councilman Laven seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />
