r ORDINANCE, THIRD READING ORDINANCE NO. 4897 -66 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 40 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA OF 1962, MORE SPECIFICALLY KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NO. 4608 -63 ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND ON OCTOBER 14, 1963, AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. (Location: 3004 Edison Rd. between Rockne Dr., and Brummi.tt Lane) The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes (Councilmen Allen, Palmer, Geib, Szymkowiak, Laven, Smith and Muszynski) 2 nays (Councilmen Hunter and Wise) ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40, SECTION 40 -14 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1962, ALSO KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NUMBER 3702, ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ON THE 14th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1963, AND KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on November 14, 1966. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 140 -66 RESOLUTION FOR TRANSFER IN THE PARK GENERAL FUND -- $300.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ONE ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER IN THE SAME CATEGORY OF THE PARK GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of the Department of Public Parks to meet such extraordinary emergencies, and, WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that certain accounts in the Park General Fund have more money than is needed at this time. Section I. That the following accounts be reduced in the the amounts set opposite said accounts: Acct. No. Classification 52 Current Charges 53 Current Charges Item Amount Rents $100.00 Refunds, Awards & Indemnities 200.00 Total $300.00 Section II. That the following account be increased in the amount set opposite said account: Acct. No. Classification 57 Current Charges Item Amount Taxes (Gross Income) $300.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of South Bend that the sum of $300.00 be transferred from Account #52 and Account $53 to Account #57 as set out above in Sections T and II of this resolution. That the transfer of funds as set forth in Section I and Section II are required for the proper and efficient operation and function of the Department of Public Parks of South Bend, Indiana and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfer. /s/ John L. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried. The Resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Hunter, Allen, Palmer, Wise, Geib, Szymkowiak, Laven, Smith and Muszynski) 0 nays.
