REGULAR R MEET I <br />AUGUST 8 1966 <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />TO ACCOUNT NO. L -252 (REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT) IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT" <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the <br />Council as favorable. <br />/s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman <br />There being no objections, the report was accepted as read and placed on file. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the ,hole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN- ADDITIONAL APPROPRSATION,:70 ACCOUNT' <br />NO. L -321,' GASOLINE; IN THE AMOUNT'.OF:`$250 00 AND'THE'TRANSFER OF.'THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT L -213 TRAVELING EXPENSES, <br />ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND". <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the <br />Council as favorable. <br />/s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman <br />There being no objections, the report was accepted as read and placed on file. <br />ORDINANCES, THIRD READING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4872 -66 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO <br />ACCOUNT F -213, "TRAVELING EXPENSES ", IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $600.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT <br />F -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise), <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4873 -66 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM <br />THE GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 TO ACCOUNT <br />K -223, "HEAT ". <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise) <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4874 -66 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $500.00 FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND TO ACCOUNT NO. L -252 (REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT) IN THE <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise) <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4875 -66 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT <br />NO. L -321, GASOLINE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $250.00 AND THE <br />TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT L -213, TRAVELING EX- <br />PENSES, ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise) <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Councilman Smith expressed concern that the general public may be misinformed about the location of the <br />proposed fire station for Leeper Park. He suggested that a map of the area designating the proposed site <br />be printed in the newspaper. City Engineer Lloyd Taylor said that he would be happy to prepare such a map, <br />or drawing. <br />There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned.
