<br />RESOLUTION NO. 123 -65
<br />RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO ACCOUNTS
<br />Q -221 and Q -222 OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT
<br />OF $625.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE
<br />REPAIRS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES ACCOUNT IN THE
<br />SAME CATEGORY, TO -WIT: SERVICES CONTRACTUAL, AND
<br />ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND.
<br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing
<br />annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
<br />annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
<br />WHEREAS, Additional services are urgently needed by the Fire Department to assure its ability
<br />to properly perform its function and the sum of $625.00 is needed forthwith; and
<br />WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more
<br />specifically as follows, to -wit:
<br />1. Six Hundred Twenty -Five Dollars ($625.00), Q -251 Services Contractual, Repairs of Buildings
<br />& Structures.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of
<br />$625.00 be transferred from Account Q -251 designated as Services - Contractual, Repairs of Building
<br />& Structures, by transferring it to the following accounts, to -wit:
<br />A. Three Hundred Twenty -Five Dollars ($325.00)
<br />to Account Q -221, Designated as Services
<br />Contractual, Electric Current
<br />B. Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) to Account
<br />Q -222, designated as Services Contractual, Gas
<br />All of said accounts are within the same category, to -wit: Services Contractual of the Fire Department.

<br />the resolution be passed by a roll call vote. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />The resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays.

<br />RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO ACCOUNTS
<br />H -214 AND H -221B, OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND
<br />SAFETY IN THE AMOUNT OF $19500.00 AND THE TRANSFER
<br />OF THE SAME FROM THE ELECTRIC CURRENT ACCOUNT IN THE
<br />SAME CATEGORY, TO -WIT: SERVICES CONTRACTUAL, AND ALL
<br />IN THE GENERAL FUND.
<br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing
<br />annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the

<br />WHEREAS, Additional services are urgently needed by the Board of Public Works and Safety to
<br />assure its ability to properly.perform its function and the sum of $1,500.00 is needed forthwith; and
<br />WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and
<br />more specifically as follows, to -wit:
<br />1. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) H -221, Services - Contractual, Electric Current,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITi OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum
<br />of $1,500.00 be transferred from Account H -221 designated as Services - Contractual, Electric Current, by
<br />transferring ij to the following accounts, to -wit:
<br />A. One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to Account H -214, designated as Services
<br />Contractual, Telephone and Telegraph
<br />B. Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to Account H -221B, designated as Services
<br />Contractual, Electric Current - Buildings.
<br />All of said accounts are within the same category, to -wit: Services Contractual of the Office
<br />of the Board of Public Works and Safety.

<br />the resolution be passed by a roll call vote. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried.
