REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 8 1965
<br />REGULAR MEETING
<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the
<br />Council Chambers at City Hall, on Monday, November 8, 1965, at 8:23 P:M. All members were present except
<br />Councilman Glass, who passed away on November 5, 1965. The meeting was called to order by President John
<br />L. Hunter, Jr., who presided.
<br />ROLL CALL
<br />PRESENT: Councilman Hunter,, Allen, Palmer, Wise,
<br />Geib, Szymkowiak, Muszynski and Smith
<br />ABSENT: Councilman Glass
<br />Councilman Muszynski gave a memoriam to Councilman Walter G. Glass, Councilman of the Third District, who
<br />passed away on November 5, L965. A prayer in memory of Mr. Glass, was given by Rev.. Paul E. Chalfant.
<br />Councilman Smith made a motion that the service be adopted and placed in the minutes. Councilman Wise seconded
<br />the motion. Motion carried.
<br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES
<br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
<br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected
<br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the
<br />same be approved.

<br />The undersigned, A. Harold Weber, Inc., owner of the following described
<br />real estate:
<br />Lots Numbered Two Hundred Ninety -three (293),,
<br />Two Hundred Ninety -four (294), Two Hundred
<br />Ninety -five (295), Two Hundred Ninety -six
<br />(296), Two Hundred Ninety -seven (297), Two
<br />Hundred Ninety -eight (298) and Two Hundred
<br />Ninety -nine (299) in Section B Coquillard
<br />Woods, South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
<br />hereby respectfully petitions this Honorable Body to rezone said real estate
<br />from "A" Use District and "A" Height and Area District to "B" Use District and
<br />"B" Height and Area District.

<br />That said land is presently zoned "A" Use District and "A" Height and
<br />Area District.

<br />That attached hereto is a draft showing the real estate herein sought to
<br />be rezoned and the property located within three Hundred (300') feet thereof,
<br />which is made a part hereof and marked " EXIHIBIT A "; together with a list of the
<br />owners of such land, which is made a part hereof and marked "EXHIBIT B ".

<br />That the petitioner's request for rezoning herein from "A" Use District
<br />and "A" Height and Area District to "B" Use District and "B ",Height and Area District
<br />is not contrary to the publict.interest.
<br />5.
<br />That the owner of the real estate heretofore described respectfully petitions this
<br />board that said property be rezoned to said. "B" Use District and "B" Height.and Area District,
<br />WHEREFORE, petitioner prays that the Area Planning Commission take appropriate action
<br />to effectuate such zoning change
