xr;GU�x lnr:r;ri�v OCTOBER 11, 1965 PETITION Southeast corner of Bartlett St. and No. Michigan Street PETITION TO REZONE REAL ESTATE TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND: The undersigned is the owner of Lots Ten (10), Eleven (11) and Twelve. (12) in Rockstroh Bros. Addition to the City of South Bend, and each lot is presently zoned as follows: Lot 10 "C" Commercial and "C" Heighth and Area Lot 11 "C" Commercial and "C" Heighth--arid 'Area Lot 12 "C" Commerdial and "E" Heighth and Area The three lots are situated at the Southeast corner of Bartlett and North Michigan Streets, South Bend, Indiana, and comprise a. tract of land one hundred thirty -five (135) feet in width, North and South, fronting on Michigan Street, and one hundred sixty -five (165) feet.in length, East and West, on Bartlett Street. The undersigned respectfully requests that the aforedescribed three lots be rezoned from "C" and "E" Heighth and Area to "G" Heighth and Area so that the same can be used for the erection of a building thereon not to exceed bne - hundred fiftyr-.(150) feet or twelve (12) stories in heighth. The maximum heighth of any building which may now be erected on Lots Ten (10) and Eleven (11) is eighty -five (85) feet or seven (7) stories; and on Lot Twelve (12) is forty (40) feet or.three (3) stories. JOSEPH COUNTY ) TO THE SOUTH BEND CITY COUNCIL: The residents of the South -west section of South Bend, Indiana: Respectfully submit and state that the posts, commonly known as railroad ties, erected in the 1700 block of Arnold Street, South Bend, Indiana, are hazardous and dangerous to the citizens of this section of the city and the general public has been deprived of safe travel and adequate parking.
