REGULAR MEETING <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, September 27, 1965 at 8:50 P.M, with all members present <br />except Councilmen Glass and Palmer. <br />ROLL CALL <br />-- PRESENT: Councilman Hunter, Alien Wise, Geib, <br />Szymkowiak, Smith and Muszynski. <br />ABSENT: Coincil"h Glass and Palmer <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have <br />inspected.the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore <br />recommend that the same be approved. <br />/a/ John L. Hunter, Jr. <br />/s/ Janet S. Allen <br />Meetings of August 23, 1965, August 30 , 1965 /s/ Richard G. Geib <br />made and September 27, 1965 - <br />Councilman SmitA /a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Geib seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />WHEREAS, this board has heretofore received bids on the proposed waterworks construction and <br />installation of extensions, additions and improvements which have been under consideration for some <br />time, and on the basis of the lowest and best bids received and estimates of other expenses furnished by <br />the consulting engineers, the total cost of the same, including all incidental expenses to be incurred <br />in connection therewith, has been determined to be One Million Eight Hundred Ninety -five Thousand Dollars <br />($1,895,000.00), itemized as follows: <br />0 <br />
