_ COMMTTTFE OF THE WHOLE MEETING APRIL 17.,-1965 ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND THE MUELLER CO. FOR MECHANICAL JOINT GATE VALVES IN THE SUM OF $79292.00. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Wise made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING ($3,460.00) TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY JUDGE FOR THE PAYMENT OF A BAILIFF; SAID ($3,460.00) TO BE A TRANSFER FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET ACCOUNT P -11 TO ACCOUNTS E -11 AND E -215, OFFICE OF THE CITY JUDGE, ALL WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, prpponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be .heard thereon. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $76,401.17 FROM THE BARRETT LAW FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, prpponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND IN THE, AMOUNT OF $413,901.17. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an.opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT ACCOUNTS XX263, XX71, XX722, AND XX73 IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $34,500.00. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Allen made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Hunter seconded the motion.
