REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 26 1964 REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: October 26, 1964 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 ". (Location: Washington, Laurel, Napier and Walnut Sts.) Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Glass made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE, OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: October 26, 1964 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 9 TO ORDINANCE NO. 4207 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE OF SEWAGE SERVICE CHARGES TO ALL USERS OF CITY SEWER SERVICE OR CITY WATER SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPAIR AND /OR REPLACEMENT OF WATER SERVICE LINES, SHUT -OFF BOXES AND WATER METER MANHOLES ", AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: October 26, 1964 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ($3,000.00) TO THE SEWER DEPARTMENT FOR THE REPAIRS TO SEWER REPLACEMENT; SAID ($3,000.00) TO BE A TRANSFER FROM ACCOUNT J -12 INTO ACCOUNT J -262, ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried.
