26, 1964 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, October 26, 1964, at 8 :00 P.M., with all members present. <br />6kcept Councilman Muszynski. The meeting was called to order by Councilman Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman, who <br />presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Washington, Laurel, Napier and Walnut Streets) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Geib made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favor- <br />able. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Indiana Ave., Prairie Ave., Walnut St. and Magnolia St.) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as <br />favorable. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 9 TO ORDINANCE NO. 4207 ENTITLED <br />"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE OF SEWAGE SERVICE CHARGES <br />TO ALL USERS OF CITY SEWER SERVICE OR CITY WATER SERVICE FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF REPAIR AND /OR REPLACEMENT OF WATER SERVICE LINES, SHUT- <br />OFF BOXES AND WATER METER MANHOLES ", AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. <br />4260 ". <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favor- <br />able. Councilman Hunter seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ($3,000.00) TO THE SEWER DEPARTMENT <br />FOR THE REPAIRS TO SEWER REPLACEMENT ;_SAID ($3,000.00) TO BE A <br />TRANSFER FROM'ACCOUNT J -12 INTO ACCOUNT J -262, ALL BEING IN THE <br />GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as <br />favorable. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />0 <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Allen seconded the motion.
