113 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Tuesday, October 13, 1964, at 8:00 P.M., with all members present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Councilman Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Nash St., Grant St., Prairie Ave. and Calvert St.) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Councilman Hunter seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Meade St., Bendix Dive, Prast Blvd. and Westmore St.) <br />This being the time heretofore set-for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that this ordinance be referred <br />back to the City Planning Commission for amendment by excluding the following lots: 2 -6 inclusive and 9 -13 <br />inclusive of Part of Westchester 1st Unit. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO THE EQUIPMENT <br />REPAIR ACCOUNT OF THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$3,549.00 WITH SAID SUM BEING TRANSFERRED FROM THE MOTOR EQUIPMENT <br />ACCOUNT OF THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Geib made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Geib made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Hunter seconded the motion.
