Ulu <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING -JUNE 22, 1464 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, June 22, 1964, at 8 :03 P.M., with all members present except <br />Councilman Palmer. The meeting was called to order by Councilman Edwin T. Smith, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS <br />AMENDED. <br />(Amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3702, As Amended) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Geib made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. - <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS <br />AMISNDED. <br />(Section 3 -B, "A -2" Planned Residential Development District) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED. <br />(Amending Section 18, sub - section a of Ordinance No. 3702) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Allen made a motion that the ordinance be returned to <br />the Ordinance Committee for further study. Councilman Hunter seconded the motion. Motion carried, <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 4581 -63 BEING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702. <br />(Franklin, Kendall, Calvert Sts. & Ewing Ave.) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE.AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(St. Vincent, Eddy, Corby and St. Louis Blvd.) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Proponents speaking in favor of the zoning were Mrs. Arthur Quigley, <br />1019 N. Frances St.; Mrs. Robert Schmidt, 1029 N. Notre Dame.Ave. and Mrs. Frank Rafinski, 1026 N. St. Peter St. <br />Councilman Hunter made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Geib made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion.
