REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: December 11, 1963 The attached petition of Elizabeth Greer to rezone from "A"" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "B " Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District Lot 331 of Coquillard Farm Plat, also known as Lots 1 -8 of Greer's Sub., (Unrecorded), being more generally described as being bounded on the North by Howa£d Street, on the west by Jacob Street, on the south by Corby Street, and on the east by the west property lines of Lots 1 & 18 of Pt. of Hartman's Twyckenham Plat was legally advertised under date of November 30, 1963 and given public hearing on December 10, 1963. Upon conclusion of the public hearing William Morris the petitioners representive withdrew the petition. Very truly yours, /s/ Robert L. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: January 10, 1964 The attached petition of Hoffman Brothers Auto Electric Inc. to rezone from "A" Residential Use and "A'" Height and Area District to "B "Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally described as being a tract of land having 132 feet frontage on Edison Road, extending north 620 feet and lying 726 feet, more or less east of the centerline of Ironwood Road was legally advertised under date of December 30, 1963 and given Public hearing on January 9, 1864. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the requested zoning was in the best interest of the subject area; that it would help to create a buffer zone between the commercial property to the eaxt and the single family residential to the west. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, /s/ Robert L. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indian a Gentlemen: January 10, 1964 The undersigned hereby petitions your honorable body to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A'" Height and Area District the following described property: Lots 1 -8 inclusive of Feldman's Sub., Lots 294 -321 inclusive of 3rd Plat of Park Place and Coquillard Farm Plat Proposed of Lot 327, being more generally described as being bounded on the east by Jacob Street, on the west by the west property line of Lot 8 of Feldman's Sub., on the north by Corby Blvd., and on the south by the east -west alley north of Campeau Street. /s/ Robert L. Huff, Director City Planning Commission Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: January 10, 1964 The undersigned hereby petitions your honorable body to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "All Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the following described property: Lots 1 -35 inclusive of Stull's 5th Addition, Lots 10 -26 inclusive, Lots 31 -48 inclusive, Lots 53 -61 inclusive, Lots 64 -76 inclusive, Lots 81 -93 inclusive and Lots 98 -110 inclusive of South Bend and Gary Land Co., Addition, being more generally described as being bounded on the east by the first north -south alley west of Franklin Street, on the west by the first north -south alley east of Chapin Street, on the north by the first east -west alley south of Indiana Avenue, and on the south by the first east -west alley north of Calvert St. /s/ Robert L.
