COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 1963 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in <br />the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, February 11, 1963, at 8 :10 P.M., with all members present. The <br />meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL FUND - $58,858.35 <br />4wi <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Martin Knoblick, representing the Civic Planning Association; was heard. <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded the <br />mot =ion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE PROJECT <br />EXPENDITURES ACCOUNT FUND - $821,687.48 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorabl( <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT CAPITAL FUND - $166,764.49 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE MUNICIPAL <br />BONDS OF 1961 - $326,632.92 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE.FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN MUNICIPAL BONDS OF <br />1962 - $997,991.09 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Ladewski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable, <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1960 GENERAL <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND - $61,524.13 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given <br />an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as <br />favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SANITATION <br />FUND - $1,077.55 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to <br />adjourn. Councilman Glass seconded the motion.
