Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special.Session in the Council
<br />Chambers on Monday, March 19, 1962, at 8 :13 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Lehman. The meeting was
<br />called to order by President Joseph T. Kroll, who presided.
<br />The Clerk read the Call for Special Meeting, which reads as follows:

<br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY SS: CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />To the President and Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of South
<br />Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet in the
<br />Council Chambers, in the City Hall at the hour of 8:00 P.M., on Monday, March 19, 1962, for the purpose of consider-
<br />ing the following Ordinances:
<br />1. AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN 1960 GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND, $203,126.38
<br />2. AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1961 - $1,098,406.56
<br />The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice on
<br />each and every member of.the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Call for Speical Meeting.

<br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Call for Special Meeting be accepted and placed on file._ Councilman
<br />Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />PRESENT: Councilmen Kroll, Allen, Ladewski, Tellson, Coleman, Glass, Krueper and Muszynski.
<br />ABSENT: Councilman Lehman.
<br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN 1960 GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND, $203,126.38
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Coleman made a motion that the
<br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on Apri1:3, 1962. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1961 - $1,098,406.56
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Allen.made a motion that the
<br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on April 3, 1962. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Coleman made a motion that the Council Convene at a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 1962,_ at 7:00 P
<br />for public hearing on the above Ordinances. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Special Meeting of the Common Council, Councilman Muszynski made
<br />a motion to adjourn. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Special Meeting of the Common
<br />Council adjourned at 8 :26 P.M.
