360 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />OCTOBER 9, 1961 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, in <br />the Council Chambers on Monday, October 9, 1961, at 8:17 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Coleman. <br />The meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED <br />(Eddy Street between Sorin and Campeau) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, the same having been continued from <br />August 14th and September 25th, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman <br />Allen made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as unfavorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. <br />Upori..a voice vote taken, the Chairman declared the motion was lost and the Ordinance was sent to the Council as <br />favorable. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Northeast corner of Bendix Drive and Crumstown Avenue) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, the ::same having been continued from <br />September 11th and September 25th, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilma <br />Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #3702 ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />ON THE 13th day of JUNE, 1949. <br />(Olive Street North of Lincolnway West) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above ordinance, the same having been tabled at the <br />September 25th meeting pntil October 9th, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT $2,300.00 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further busixiess to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn. Councilman <br />Kroll seconded the motion.
