COMMITTEE OF TIIE WHOLE MEETING REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 14, 1961 337 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in the Council Chambers on Monday, August 14, 1961, at 8:06 P.M., with all members present. The meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, $339.00, POLICE DEPARTMENT, $1500.00, FIRE DEPARTMENT, $18,200.00, BOARD OF HEALTH, $1,000.00 This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion. carried. ORDINANCE AN.ORDINANCE /AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Eddy Street between Sorin and Sampeau) This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Krueper made a motion to amend the Ordinance after the words "B" Resi- dential Use District by adding "And "A" Height and Area District ". Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Allen made a motion to postpone the public hearing on the above Ordinance until September 25, 1961. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councioman Coleman made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.
