323 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING REGULAR MEETING JULY 10, 1961 Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Those who spoke were Mr. Joseph T. Helling, Attorney, representing the Plumbers; Mr. William E. Voor, Attorney, representing Water Softener Dealers. Councilman Kroll made a motion for a five minute recess. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. Meeting recessed at 8:50 P.M. Meeting reconvened at 9:08 P.M. Councilman Kroll -made a motion to delete Item 11 from the amendment. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Krueper made a motion, seconded by Councilman Kroll, to amend the amendment as follows: In Item 6 after the words.Appiiance Dealers License, insert the words: "Amd all appliance installers ", and after the words one -and two - family dwellings only, insert the words: "The Board to give said examination shall consist of the Building Commissioner, one (1) Master plumber and one (1) appliance dealer, said appointments to the Board to be made by the Mayor and they shall serve until their successors are appointed!. The remainder of said Item 6 shall be a new paragraph. Motion carried. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable, as amended. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski_'made : aiihotibn that. meeting be adjourned.
