COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 27, 1961 <br />301 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, March 27, 1961, with all members present. The meeting was callec <br />to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. The meeting convened at 8:10 P.M. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE STREET AND <br />TRAFFIC FUND (Off Street Parking Survey) <br />The above having been held in Committee since the March 13th, 1961, meeting of the Council, Councilman Kroll made <br />a motion that the Ordinance be withdrawn. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS <br />AMENDED (Parochial Schools) <br />This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SUM OF <br />$2,500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE 'BOARD OF HEALTH <br />(Aged and aging Program) <br />This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED <br />BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, <br />(Pokagon and State Road #31) <br />This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable <br />Councilman Krueper seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY THE <br />MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA <br />(Pokagon and Angela Blvd.) <br />This being the time heretofore set for Public Hearing din the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn, <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.
