f <br />300 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 13, 1961 <br />No. 3702, (as amended) commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana was legally adver- <br />tised on February 20, 1961, and given public hearing under date of March 2, 1961. The following action• was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that substantial justice would be done by the amendment <br />of Ordinance No. 3702, as proposed in said ordinance. Councilman Allen seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SUM OF <br />$2,500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />AS AMENDED (Parochial Schools) <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that <br />the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY <br />THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, <br />DESCRIBED AS Pokagon and State Road 31. <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY <br />THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST, JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, <br />DESCRIBED AS Angela and Pokagon Streets <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 27, 1961. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried.. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Councilman Tellson rose to ask the Council to again consider his suggestion to remove two parking meters from in <br />front of the Public Library for the purpose of creating a loading zone. Councilman Allen made a motion that the <br />matter be referred to the Traffic and Transportation Committee of the Council. Councilman Tellson seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn. Counci <br />Allen seconded the motion.
