COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 1960 <br />247 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, in <br />the Council Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, September 12, 1960, at 8:06 P.M., with all members present except <br />Councilman Allen. The meeting was called to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, ADOPTED BY THE C01016N COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND ON THE 14th DAY OF JUNE, 1949, COMMONLY AS THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (_2-15 �� 0-L-19 <br />This being the time set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity <br />to be heard on this Ordinance. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Hearing be set over until the next <br />Regular meeting of the Council. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND CONTROL THE SALE AND USE OF PLASTIC COVERINGS OR BAGS <br />This being the time set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance <br />Committee study this Ordinance and report it out at the next regular meeting of the Council. Councilman Krueper <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(1323 North Ironwood) <br />This being the time set for public hearing on this Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to <br />be heard. Councilman Krueper made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as unfavorable. Councilman <br />Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. (Those heard were Joseph T. Helling and Raymond Smith) <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS HERETOFORE <br />AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED (3605 East McKinley -- -Elks) <br />This being the time set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity <br />to be heard. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the public hearing be set over until the next regular meeting <br />of the Council. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. (Those heard were Richard Bonewitz, C.D. <br />Elliott, Marion Dutrieux, proponents; and Robert Stephan, Mr. & Mrs. R. Stewart, Geo. Patton Mrs. Huffman, opponents) <br />C <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />CERTAIN LANDS (Ireland Road and Pennsylvania Railroad Tracks) <br />This being the time set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity <br />to be heard thereon. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. (Proponent- -R. S.Andrys iak- -opponents T. Laughlin and A.F.Reaso� <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to <br />adjourn. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion.
