COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING JUNE 27, 1960 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in the Council Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, June 27, 1960, at 8:09 P.M., with all-members present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman T. W. Lehman, who presided. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (REAL ESTATE INVOLVED LOCATED AT 1215 SOUTH BEND AVENUE) This being the time set for public hearing on the above ordinance, proponents -.and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as unfavorable. Councilman Ladewski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SOUTH BEND - ST. JOSEPH COUNTY BUILDING AUTHORITY, $13,500.00 Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. The Chairman introduced Mayor Edward F. Voorde, who spoke in favor of the Ordinance. Miss Virginia Guthrie, Executive Secretary of the Civic Pladning Association, was heard. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ALIENATION AND CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Xuszynski- secondef the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Coleman seconded the motion.
