201 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 26, 1960 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole,_Counc' <br />Chambers, City Hall, on Tuesday, April 26, 1960, at 8:11 P.M., with all members present. fhe meeting was called <br />to order by Councilman T. W. Lehman, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PROTECTION OF POLICE REPORTING SYSTEM AND <br />PROHIBITING THE USE OF SAID REPORTING SYSTEM FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN <br />MATTERS PERTAINING TO POLICE OR FIREMEN. <br />This being the time set for Public Hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity <br />to be heard thereon. Police Chief J. Charles Dutrieux was present and explained the system to the Council. <br />Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Allen seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Coleman seconded the motion.
