COMMUNICATION The following Resolution which was passed by the Civic Planning Association was read by the Clerk. RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND CIVIC PLANNING ASSN., INC. BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Civic Planning Association, Inc., by this resolution adopted by its members respectfully requests that all or as much as needed of the proceeds from the proposed MILLION DOLLAR STREET BOND issue be used to complete the city's share of the East and West Sample Street projects before beginning any other street projects. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Association requests the South Bend City Council to specify their intentions and plans for the proceeds of the MILLION DOLLAR STREET BOND ISSUE at or before the City Council meeting on Feb- ruary 23, 1960 in order to give taxpayers time to remonstrate if, in their opinion, the announced use of these funds is not acceptable.
