Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF STREETS AND ALLEYS COMMITTEE <br />Attn: The Common Council of the City of South Bend <br />October 13, 1959 <br />This committee held a meeting in reference to ordinance before the common council on naming former Monroe Street, <br />between Taylor and Scott Streets to DeKovats Drive. <br />The committee finds that such street as Monroe St. between Taylor and Scott never existed, therefore this ordinance <br />would not be valid, as you cannot rename a street that never existed. <br />The committee recommends to the common Council, this ordinance as unfavorable. <br />Chester Muszynski, Chairman <br />Streets and Alleys Committee <br />Councilman Erhardt made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Height and Area District to "C -1" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area <br />District, was legally advertised on Sepember 21, 1959 and given public hearing under date of October 1, 1959.
