148 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 28, 1959 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, on <br />Monday, September 28, 1959, at 7 :11 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Hahn. The meeting was called to <br />order by Councilman Kroll, Chairman, who presided. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN FIRE DEPARTMENT AND CITY TREASURER <br />IN AMOUNT OF $1870.00 AND TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT IN AMOUNT OF $1650.00 <br />Public Hearing was had on the above Ordinance. Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN POLICE DEPARTMENT IN AMOUNT OF $2,400.00 <br />Public hearing was had on the above Ordinance. Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard.. <br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to <br />adjourn. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at <br />7.11 P M_ <br />CLERK <br />s <br />APPROVED: <br />
