RESOLUTION <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR PRELIMINARY LOAN <br />FOR LOW RENT PUBLIC HOUSING <br />The Clerk read the Resolution in its entirety. Councilman Hahn made a motion that the Resolution be referred to <br />the Public Improvement Committee for further study. Councilman Erhardt seconded the motion. ;Motion carried. <br />Other Business <br />Councilman Muszynski requested that the Health Department investigate the large number of rats in the Bremen Iron <br />and Metal Company Junk Yard on West Dunham Street. Report on June 8, 1959. <br />Councilman Erler requested the Board of Health to investigate the rats and unsanitary conditions across from the <br />A & P on South Michigan Street at Donald Street. Report on June 8, 1959. <br />Councilman Tellson stated he-had received a complaint from a Mrs. Reed in regard to breeding of dogs on 21st Street <br />near Pleasant Street. Report on June 8, 1959. <br />Councilman Erler complained of the deisel engines on the switch tracks of the Pennsylvania Railroad near West Ewing <br />Avenue and stated that there is too much noise. Request the Board of Public Works and Safety to investigate and <br />report on June 8, 1959. <br />Councilman Muszynski complained that inter -city trucks are still using Olive Street and the Chief of Police is <br />directed to place officers there continuously and also that a report at the next meeting be made on the coverage <br />by the Police Department, the arrests made and the disposition of each case. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Kroll <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Regular Meeting of the Common Council adjourned at 11 :52 P.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />APPROVED: <br />CLERK PRESIDENT <br />74 <br />
