<br />Will you please remind the Councilmen at the meeting tonight that there will be a meeting of all railroad officials
<br />to discuss the condition of the crossings and right of way in South Bend, on Thursday, December 11th at 1 :30 P.M.,
<br />in the Council Chambers. Each Councilman has been informed of this meeting.

<br />Councilman Kroll made a motion that the Third Reading on the above Ordinance be set over until December:22, 1958.
<br />Councilman Erhardt seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />CONSTRUCTION, RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND EXPENSES
<br />INCURRED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AS AMENDED.
<br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays.

<br />The attached petition of Edward and Virginia Buszkiewicz to rezone Lot 2 in Wooded Estates, generally described as
<br />the Southwest corner of Ironwood Road and Oak Park Drive, from "A" residential Use District to "C" Commercial Use
<br />District was legally advertised on 24 November 1958 and given public hearing on 4 December 1958. The following ac-
<br />tion was taken:
<br />After due consideration the Commission found that commercial use of subject area would be
<br />an unwarranted intrusion into a residential area. It was therefore duly moved, seconded
<br />and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended unfavorably to the Common Council.

<br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, is approaching the close of its fascal year; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the office of the City Controller will be required to make numerous payments and close its numerous and
<br />complicated accounts; and,
<br />WHEREAS, it is desirable that the work of said office be simplified; i
