COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: <br />REGULAR MEETING: <br />OCTOBER 14, 1958 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, in <br />the Council Chambers,Tuesday, October 14, 1958, at 7:11 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Carr. The <br />meeting was called to order By President Stanley Korpal, who asked Councilman Hahn to act as Chairman of the <br />Committee of the Whole in the absence of Councilman Carr. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND <br />SALE OF BONDS OF SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO BE APPLIED TO <br />THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION, RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND <br />EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br />65 <br />Councilman Korpal stated that due to further study required on this Ordinance, the Councilmen would like to postpone <br />the hearing for two weeks or sooner by calling a special meeting. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Kroll seconded the motion.
