63 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: SEPTEMBER 22, 1958 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole, <br />in the Council Chambers, Monday, September 22, 1958, with all members present except Councilman Carr. In the <br />absence of Mr. Carr, Chairman of the Committee of the Whole, President Stanley C. Korpal asked Councilman Hahn <br />to preside. The meeting was called to order at 8:04 P.M. <br />INANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN BOARD OF WATER WORKS COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND CLYDE E. WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES, INC., DATED AUGUST 25, 1958, <br />FOR SURVEY AND STUDY OF WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS. <br />onents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. <br />uncilman Glass made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded the <br />tion. Motion carried. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY,OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE <br />OF BONDS OF SAID CITY FOk THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO BE APPLIED TO THE COST <br />OF CONSTRUCTION, RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND EXPENSES INCURRED <br />IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br />Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. It was decided by the Council <br />that the hearing on this Ordinance would continue to the next Regular meeting of the Council. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Christman <br />seconded the motion.
