<br />it should be reported favorable as amended, as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF
<br />ALL BUDGET - OPERATED DEPARTMENTS OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
<br />FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1959, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1959, INCLUDING
<br />DEPARTMENTS, FUNDS AND OOMMISSIONS FOR WHICH MONEY IS APPROPRIATED, IN WHOLE OR
<br />IN PART, FROM FUNDS OTHER THAN THE GENERAL FUNDS, OF SAID CITY, TO -WIT: STREET,
<br />TRAFFIC AND PARK DEPARTMENTS, FIREMEN'S PENSION AND POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUNDS,
<br />AND THE CITY PLAN AND URBAN REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONS: PROVIDING THAT SUCH

<br />aye; Councilman Erler, aye; Councilman Muszynski, aye.

<br />RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />WHEREAS, Frank Bruggner, esteemed Controller for the Municipal City of South Bend is celebrating his sixty-
<br />seventh birthday this date, and
<br />WHEREAS, Frank Bruggner has worked expeditiously, diligently and efficiently for and on behalf of the
<br />Municipal City of South Bend in his capacity as Controller, and
<br />WHEREAS, through his assistance and services the tasks and duties of the Common Council and of the adminis-
<br />tration of the City of South Bend have been lessened considerably, and
<br />WHEREAS, the members of the administration of the City of South Bend, including the members of the Common
<br />Council, are indebted and grateful for these services which have been of benefit to the entire community, and
<br />WHEREAS, it is our desire to congratulate Frank Bruggner on his sixty- seventh birthday and to wish him
<br />many more years of health and happiness and to express our appreciation to him for the civic services performed on
<br />behalf of the community,
<br />IT IS, THEREFORE, RESOLVED, that Frank Bruggner be and he is hereby congratulated on his
<br />sixty- seventh birthday and it is further RESOLVED that this Council wish him many more
<br />years of service to the City of South Bend, and it is further RESOLVED that we express our appre-
<br />ciation and gratitude for the civil services performed by Frank Bruggner.
