The meeting was called to order by <br />President Stanley C. Korpal, who presided. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Korpal, Carr, Tellson, Christman, Kroll, Glass, Hahn, Erler and Muszynski. <br />ABSENT: None <br />MINUTES: <br />Report of Committee on Minutes: <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on tke inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report. that they have in- <br />spected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that <br />the same be approved. <br />.Stanley C. Korpal <br />Julius B. Christman, Jr. Committee <br />G. W. Carr <br />South Bend, Ind., May 12, 1958 <br />Minutes of meeting of April 28, 1958. <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the teport be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Kroll seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />May 8, 1958 <br />The attached petition of Matthew L. & Catherine D. Metzler to zone from "A" Residential Use District to "B" Residen- <br />tial Use District and "B" Height and Area District the following described real estate to -wit: Lot Numbered Fifteen <br />(15), Oak Park First Addition to the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more commonly described <br />as 1021 East Dubail Avenue was legally advertised on 21 April 1958 and given public hearing under date of 1 May 1958. <br />The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the granting of the petition would constitute an <br />adequate buffer. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen:' <br />The attached petition of Jess Riggs, 1625 Miami Street, to zone the lot at 1017 East Dubail Avenue from "A" Residentia <br />Use District to "B" Residential Use District and "B" Height and Area District was legally advertised on 24 March 1958 <br />and given public hearing under date of 3 April 1958. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the granting of the petition would constitute an <br />adequate buffer.
